The 18 holes were developed in 1989 by the renowned architect Luigi Rota Caremoli, from the lava stone residual related to 1916 eruption. Caremoli is the only italian architect having benn awarded as member of the Association of British Golf Course Architects. Luigi Rota Caremoli made the most of the 44 hectares of hilly terrain, designing technical obstacles to great effect, to the extent that the course appears entirely natural. Weather is one of the many good reasons for you to choose Picciolo Golf Club since it allows you to play golf all year. Its morphological position (650MT.) and the very proximity of the sea (30kms about) make the ground no freezing in winter, while summer is mild differently from the rest island which is definitely hot.
